Emil Bove’s nomination to the federal bench is a direct threat to the rule of law and must be rejected. His record is not just troubling—it’s disqualifying.
Over 75 former judges from both parties have warned that Bove has an “egregious record of mistreating law enforcement, abusing power, and disregarding the law.” These are not vague concerns—they are backed by credible allegations that Bove plotted to violate court orders and instructed officers to commit illegal acts in service of Trump's anti-immigrant agenda.
A DOJ whistleblower is ready to testify under oath, yet the Senate has refused to hear this crucial evidence. Meanwhile, Bove has pursued politically motivated prosecutions, interfered in January 6th cases, and dropped charges to protect a Trump ally—behavior that reeks of corruption and unfitness for judicial office.
This isn’t a partisan issue. It’s about preserving the integrity of our courts. Putting someone like Emil Bove on the federal bench would be a betrayal of everything the judiciary is supposed to stand for: independence, fairness, and respect for the law.
The Senate Judiciary Committee must reject this nomination without hesitation. Our democracy depends on it.
