I am writing to exhort you to vote NO on the SAVE act that is set to cross your desk in the near future. This act is not designed to reduce any possibility of non-citizens voting: there is no evidence that this has ever been a real thing in Pennsylvania or elsewhere in the US! Instead, this proposal is intended only to further fuel fears about such voter fraud and to disenfranchise women, adoptees, and many others who have had good reason to change their names since birth. This is unacceptable. In the last election voter participation was deplorable; we need to be making it easier, not harder to vote! Vote NO on the SAVE act!
