Now that the ill-conceived war in Iran has significantly raised the threat of terrorist attacks, it seems like a good time to remind you that the Department of Homeland Security official overseeing the government's main hub for terrorism prevention is a 23-year old with no apparent national security expertise, Thomas Fugate. Fugate's only qualifications seem to be his intense loyalty to Trump. We can't afford to keep running the country with this level of incompetence. Call for Fugate's resignation and replacement with a qualified and experienced expert. The safety of all Americans depend on competent, experienced professionals in important security positions, not unqualified political appointees.
