Take a stand against Donald Trump’s unconstitutional bombing of Iran. As a citizen, we should all find it deeply concerning that the President would authorize a strike without Congressional approval. Furthermore, it’s been reported that he did meet with top Republican officials but no Democratic officials prior to the strikes.
As the President, he has a moral and legal responsibility to uphold the Constitution and to represent all of the American people. It is becoming clearer by the day that we do not have a President capable of upholding American ideals (or laws).
While I do not expect to agree with every official or every decision made by those in office, I do expect those who are elected to abide by the foundation and laws of our country.
When someone is elected to do a job and they do not perform the most basic requirements of their office, I expect every check and balance built into our country’s framework to fall into place. That means we, the American people, need you to stand up to any and all unconstitutional actions and hold officials — from local offices to the President.
Please. The American people are begging you to protect our country, our Constitution, and our democracy. Whether you personally agree with his policies or not, do your due diligence and demand that Donald Trump uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.
