Oppose the Save America Act, and any other iterations of this bill. You know that voter fraud is way oversold. When it does show up, it’s usually in a Republican majority state. Example: Florida’s The Villages. You know Trumps’s very accusations of massive voter fraud have been well investigated and found to simply not found to be real. Yet, he pushes and pushes. The Save America Act is just a much repeated attempt to control votes, to remove vast numbers of likely democratic voters of various demographics. Blacks, Latino, AND women! You are targeting women with this business of names given at birth being different from the names we took from our husband’s in marriage. How stupid of me to not have stood for women’s liberation 52 years ago! I, as most of my generation, took my husband’s name. And, let me tell you, it’s not that easy, and it’s damned expensive, too, to jump through the required hoops to get these previously adequate documents changed! Ive had to get my SS card changed to reflect my married status, and I’ve had to send off for birth certificates and marriage license, too. Many people who live more mobile lives, or just lives, will not be able to locate them. Who would have believed it would come to this idiocy? But, that’s where we are in the Trump era. The tactics republicans use to cling to power are chock full of devious attempts. Shame. Oppose The Save Act.
