Trump has said over 2 dozen times we’ve ‘won’ this war he started. I presume that means there is nothing left to do. He’s also said the U.S. ‘doesn’t need’ the Strait of Hormuz and it’s up to other countries to get it reopen. He’s said it is NOT the job of the U.S. to reopen the Strait. GIVEN THOSE WORDS – please explain to me WHY we are still in the middle east and why we are deploying more troops there if we have ‘won’ and we ‘don’t need’ the Strait of Hormuz? I expect a clear and concise answer. This should NOT be difficult.
