ICE Is Committing Human Rights Crimes — Shut It Down Now

To: Rep. Bacon, Sen. Fischer, Sen. Ricketts

From: A constituent in Papillion, NE

June 29

ICE is not protecting the country. ICE is terrorizing communities, ripping families apart, and disappearing people into cages. What you’re funding is not immigration enforcement — it’s state-sponsored human trafficking. Agents are dragging people out of their homes, workplaces, and schools in broad daylight. No due process. No accountability. Just armed raids, fear, and silence. People are dying in custody. Kids are separated from their parents. Detention centers are disease-ridden hellholes where human beings — often U.S. residents — are packed like cargo. Call it what it is: ICE is running a nationwide network of concentration camps. You’ve seen the photos. You’ve heard the stories. You’ve read the death reports. And still, you fund it. Every time you approve another dollar, every time you shrug and look away, you are complicit. This is not immigration policy. This is a moral catastrophe. This is violence, sanctioned and paid for by the people we elected to lead. Shut it down. Free the detainees. Defund ICE. And stop pretending this is normal. If you don’t act now, history will remember you — not as leaders, but as cowards who stood by while people were rounded up and disappeared in America.
