No more war or disqualifying rhetoric

To: Sen. Cruz, Rep. Fallon, Sen. Cornyn

From: A constituent in Plano, TX

April 7

Today, President Trump said that “a whole civilization will die tonight” if Iran does not meet his deadline to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. That rhetoric is dangerous and disqualifying. I, along with other Americas, reject any more actions violent taken against Iran. I’m asking you to publicly condemn this rhetoric and press the administration and cabinet to treat this as disqualifying conduct. Calling this what it is matters. Even if removal is difficult, elected officials should treat rhetoric like this as unfit and dangerous. You must stop this. Stop this nonsensical war you started.
