On Wednesday, February 25, the Senate Energy and Natural Resources committee will hold a confirmation hearing for Steve Pearce to run the BLM. If he makes it through this committee hearing, I am calling on you not to confirm him! Our public lands are our treasure, and why would we turn over our treasure to private corporations that will strip the value out for private financial gain, and leave the public with nothing, no future, no income, no jobs, no mental health that would otherwise come from our lands in perpetuity? I call on you to take the long view and to conserve what we the people already have.
