Pursue just peace and human rights for Palestinians
To: V.P. Harris

Expressing sympathy for the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza is commendable, but concrete actions must follow to genuinely support their rights and wellbeing. The dire humanitarian crisis demands an immediate cessation of hostilities and lifting of the crippling blockade imposed on Gaza. The persistent violence and lack of accountability have exacerbated the misery of the Palestinian people. A comprehensive policy shift prioritizing human rights, diplomacy and self-determination for Palestinians is crucial to attaining a just and lasting resolution to this long-standing conflict. Persistent military support enabling the oppression of Palestinians is unacceptable and contrary to American values of freedom and equality. It is imperative to reevaluate the unwavering alignment with Israel's military occupation and to finally take decisive steps towards peace and security for all people in the region.
