I am a voter in Warren County Ohio. I am writing to ask that you protect federal workers from random and non-strategic firing. I believe that our government can and should be more efficient; however, removing personnel at random without assessing their performance, their contribution to the agency, and the role that they serve within the agency does not improve efficiency and reduce bureaucracy. It is a random slashing of jobs that leads to chaos and waste. I strongly support my tax dollars going to fund positions at the national parks, our scientific research institutions, and the veterans administration. I hope that as an American, you would also value these jobs. Please think independently of Elon Musk and do what’s best for America and Ohioans.
