Right to privacy and Autism registry

To: Rep. Bacon, Sen. Fischer, Sen. Ricketts

From: A verified voter in Valley, NE

April 23

I am writing to express my concern over the creation of an autism registry and the HIPPA eighths of all Americans. This autism registry is a violation of privacy. It unnecessarily singles out people and gathers private information that the government has no right to. The is a blatant violation of HIPPA privacy and needs to be stopped. The government has no right to anyone’s personal health information or mental status information. I ask that you speak up and speak out against this blatant violation of our right to privacy. If we allow this, then the federal government may as well be inside our homes and medical exam rooms. It is also a very slippery slope to other private information. Secondly, RFK is showing blatant bias against people who are neurodivergent. There is nothing wrong with them. They are human just like us. Who will be next under his pointed attacks? To single them out is just pure evil and shows his hatred. On his position he should be working to help ALL Americans not to ostracize some. I urge you to speak to protect our HIPPA right to privacy and prevent government overreach. I urge you to stand with all Americans instead of attacking those who are a bit different than you.
