I have tried to ignore the train wreck in DC but seriously now that SCOTUS has given the green light to the new ballroom, I feel like still S citizens we are screaming into a void! If Trump spent half the time and taxpayer dollars on fixing some actual problems in the country he might not be so unpopular and elected republicans would not be in such precarious positions this year! He is so focused on remodeling our capitol and pretending everthing else is great and has his little minions researching every way possible to get SCOTUS to approve his monstrosities! I know so many former Trump supports that are just done with him and his desire to remake DC in his gaudy image! Once he us finally out of the White House it will take years to rid our capitol of the gold leaf excessive decor and buildings he has wasted our time and money on while Congress cowardly try to remain invisible to him.. The whole mess is sickening and he has ruined our status with allies over his unhinged vanity projects! November should be an eye opener for Congress if the recent primaries are any indication of the future! Can’t happen soon enough! No point in expecting any Republican to show a backbone and stop the train!
