So, what IS the status of Trumps war in Iran? Per Robert B. Hubbell, the following ‘collection’ of statements have flowed from the white house. • It’s over; it’s not over. • We won; but not enough. • We’re winding down; we need $200 billion more to continue the war. • It might be over soon; we might put “boots on the ground” soon. • Iran’s military capability has been obliterated; we must send in the US Navy to protect ships from Iran’s ongoing military attacks. • The US doesn’t need the Strait of Hormuz because we are energy independent; US allies are obliged to keep the Strait open to lower US gas prices. • We obliterated the Iranian nuclear capability in June of 2025; the US attacked in March because Iran was a week away from using a nuclear weapon against the US. • The increase in gas prices isn’t a big deal; I knew it would be a big deal, but I am surprised it isn’t a bigger one. A head spinning disaster if there ever were one. So – WHAT IS IT? What do we need $200B for if Trump doesn’t even know what the hell his objectives are? If you’d end this disaster, I can understand funding to replenish stockpiles – but funding a hot war with no objectives is a huge waste of taxpayer dollars. I notice you avoid answering direct questions but gloss around with what a huge security threat Iran poses and they had nuclear weapons they’d use in “2 weeks”. Except no one believes that. And war by tweet is NOT serious. And please explain WHY we have lifted sanctions on Iranian oil ---- why are we giving Iran MORE money to fight against US? You have gleefully hitched your wagon to this mess – it’s now time to explain. War is NOT a video game – explain to me WHY your president is using video game, other clips of sports etc to make this WAR look like a GAME. What a huge disservice to those who have loved ones at risk. Answer me.
