‘At his first press conference as acting Attorney General, Todd Blanche did nothing to assert his independence from Donald Trump. In fact, he said: “If President Trump chooses to nominate somebody else and asks me to go do something else, I’ll say, 'Thank you very much, I love you, sir.'” Blanche used to be Trump’s personal lawyer.
