I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding your support for the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill.” Your decision to back this legislation is not only disheartening but a betrayal to the people you were elected to represent. This bill is detrimental to our communities and reflects priorities that serve special interests rather than the well-being of everyday citizens. It is a painful reminder that far too many of our elected officials have become disconnected from the people they serve. You should be ashamed of this decision. When you had an opportunity to stand up for what is right, you instead chose to align yourself with policies that harm us. We will not forget this vote. Come election time, we will remember who stood with the people and who did not. You can be certain that we will not support your re-election, and we will encourage others to do the same. It is time for leaders who actually listen, who have the courage to do what is right, and who don’t sell out their constituents for political gain.
