Congress needs to pause negotiations on the 2026 DHS appropriations bill pending investigations of the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent. ICE is completely out of control—they’re beating citizens – especially women, terrorizing neighborhoods, breaking vehicle windows and pulling people (including disabled women!) out and beating them, and behaving in a lawless, dangerous, and outrageous manner. They should receive NO more funds and the current level of funding should be reconsidered and ONLY provided if they uncover their faces and clearly show identification and uphold professional conduct standards. If their behavior were not lawless, they would have no reason to hide. I know of NO other police department or sheriff’s department who covers their face on a regular basis – DO YOU? You have blood on your hands and you are complicit in these crimes by funding this lawless agency without demanding their conduct became lawful and actually protect the public. I want an answer – will you DEMAND they remove masks and show ID and hold their funding until they perform their duties with safety and respect? It’s a simple yes or no.
