Next week, Casey Means will appear before the Senate for a confirmation hearing on her appointment to Surgeon General. Casey Means dropped out of her medical residency and does not have an active license to treat patients. She is skeptical of some vaccines and has repeated the debunked claim that they could be linked to autism. She has spoken out against bans on raw milk, which can contain dangerous bacteria. She has frequently told Americans not to trust the medical system, which goes well to promote her best-selling book but not to promote health to our citizens. I urge you to demand her to be truthful and urge you to do all you can with your questions to investigate whether she will parrot the Administration’s talking point or whether she will follow science and common sense in her approach as Surgeon General. Our country’s healthcare system is being quickly dismantled and we the people will suffer the consequences. I ask you to do your job and to stand up for us.
