We need a complete, 100% moratorium on building any new AI DATA Centers and a cease and desist on the ones currently being built or in operation until appropriate studies on the environmental damage they are doing. We need hefty regulations on their energy consupmtion, costs, and water usage. There is no where in the US where there is an abundance of water to pull away from crop, human, and wildlife consumption. With rising fuel and energy costs, there is no where in the US where we have a surplus of energy. Consumers do not want AL, voters to do not want it, the growing usage is being artificially driver by the tech industry for profit. Please do everything you can do to shut them down until they can be safely regulated.
