Do not nullify any workers union rights and instead empower workers unions
To: Pres. Trump
From: A constituent in San Antonio, TX
February 3
Nullifying existing union contracts would undermine core democratic principles and erode worker protections that millions of federal employees rely on. As public servants, these workers dedicate themselves to serving the nation, and attempting to unilaterally void their negotiated agreements is an affront to their labor rights. Instead of pursuing policies that diminish the workforce, a responsible administration should prioritize fostering a productive and respected federal workforce that can effectively carry out its duties on behalf of all citizens. Revoking legally binding contracts will only breed distrust, low morale, and dysfunction within government agencies. I urge you to reconsider this approach and uphold the contractual agreements already in place to demonstrate respect for federal workers and the rule of law.
