As your constituent, it does seem as though you are interested in representing your constituents or Americans overall. However, you need to realize that your voters don’t want you to just do whatever Mike Johnson or the president say to do. We want you to listen to us, more than the president, because we are the ones you work for & who keep you in your job. Here are the things on our minds: we want checks/balances, equal branches of government, we don’t want to go to war with Venezuela or any other country, and we want immigrants to be treated humanely and with dignity and respect and as human beings. Unless we are full-blooded Native Americans- our family members were all immigrants at one point. Would you want someone to have treated your family in this way? Lock them up in cages with little clean water or food. Sent to a gulag in El Salvador?! Kristi Noem, Tom Holman, and Steven Miller should all be impeached and removed immediately for how they treat immigrants and U. S. Citizens. They broke laws and violated the constitution. They violated human rights laws and basic human decency. We don’t want any more tariffs, we want lower costs in housing (rent and loans), electricity, groceries, health insurance, tax the ultra wealthy instead of giving them handouts (they are the true “welfare queens”, and a government that listens to us when we speak out. I am a Christian, and I don’t believe we are “persecuted.” But I do believe that those in Congress, especially those who claim to be Christians, are harming the vulnerable, hungry, and many Americans and immigrants. And I want all politicians to do their jobs the way that Christians should be doing them and actually act like Jesus would. Jesus helped people who were different from him, especially the poor, the sick, the hungry. He would take care of citizens in his native country just like he would care for immigrants. Do you listen to Pope Leo?!?! Or the Bishop in D. C. when they have condemned the poor treatment of human beings by this administration?!? They are sharing guidance on how to be a true Christian. Are you listening to them? Are you listening to your constituents?! Please reflect on that and I encourage you to read Matthew 5.
