Arms embargo on Israel needed to prevent rights violations
To: V.P. Harris

In line with recent calls from UN experts and civil society, a comprehensive arms embargo on Israel is urgently needed to prevent further grave violations against the Palestinian people amounting to crimes against humanity and war crimes. Major arms exporters like the United States, Germany, France, and others are knowingly providing weapons and military assistance that enable the Israeli government's oppressive occupation and excessive use of force against civilians. Companies like Raytheon, General Dynamics, and Lockheed Martin are complicit through their arms sales. An immediate and permanent ceasefire along with ending all arms transfers to Israel is imperative to uphold human rights and international law. This cycle of violence facilitated by unrestricted militarism must end.
