An Open Letter

To: Rep. Graves, Sen. Hawley, Sen. Schmitt

From: A constituent in Plattsburg, MO

January 13

DOJ missed the legal deadline of December 19 for releasing the Epstein files. The legal deadline for the DOJ to submit to Congress a written justification for any documents from the Epstein files that the department had redacted or withheld has also come and gone. Both of those deadlines were established by the Epstein Files Transparency Act, passed overwhelmingly by Congress on November 19, 2025. WHAT do you plan to do about the DOJ continuing the BREAK THE LAW that YOU JUST PASSED? This is completely unacceptable - DOJ is thumbing their nose (or giving the middle finger) to Congress --- how long do you plan to allow this type of disrespect? It appears some of your colleagues are in the files performing horrifying acts against children; isn’t it time to get perpetrators held to account? It makes you look weak and ineffective - stand up for us - hell, stand up for yourself. Don't be such so gutless. Have some higher standards. I expect an answer on WHAT you intend to do and expect you to make a public statement condemning DOJ disrespectful and illegal actions.
