Protect the Kennedy Center

To: Sen. McCormick, Sen. Fetterman, Rep. Scanlon

From: A constituent in Marcus Hook, PA

August 27

The Kennedy Center for the preforming arts is a living memorial to one of our greatest presidents. The current occupant of the office doesn’t deserve to have his name even mentioned in the same breath as Kennedy. Kennedy was a WWII veteran and hero. Current guy had “bone spurs.” Kennedy was concerned for the well-being, prosperity, and suffrage of all citizens, especially those citizens who are non-white. Current guy actively wants to deny healthcare, opportunity and suffrage to our most marginalized citizens. Kennedy beseeched us to “Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country.” While our current president is found lacking seeking only what he can do for himself, his family, and the richest among us. If the current occupant of the White House desires to have his name remembered, perhaps he should first repent and begin serving his country as Kennedy did. I therefore request that you do not allow this usurper to attach his name in any way to the living memorial of the Kennedy Center for the Preforming Arts.
