I’d really like to see a state law that bars federal agents, employees, contractors and the like from harassing residents of our state for no reason. It’s not enough to just say they are federal agents, they won’t show their face , badge or identification, how do we know they didn’t just order their gear on amazon? What’s stopping anybody from buying a shirt that says police or FBI and police ? We the people can’t trust a shirt , a vest or red & blue light, I’m not saying don’t let federal agents do their job if they are working legally but expecting we the people to blindly submit is asinine, and you know it. We have a little thing called the constitution that protect us from terrorists government officials but back to the point the face that there have been people’s houses broke into by fake ice agents shows the need agents wearing correct uniform and identifying themself. I don’t know if you’ve seen videos of how ICE interacts with citizens but it’s crazy if they want respect be respectful, I myself and many respect our local law enforcement and it’s because they wear correct uniform, show their face , have badges with badge numbers and they help the community. This isn’t about law enforcement this is about federal agents setting a precedent that makes us unsafe as a whole and I’m asking for laws that require federal agents operating in this state to wear correct uniforms and show their face and identify themselves the same that local law enforcement are already doing.
