As your constituent, I am deeply disappointed that you publicly said Democrats should not impeach "anybody" if they regain control of Congress. It is imperative to democracy - and a winning stance with your voters! - that we hold the current administration accountable if and when Democrats regain power. They've committed countless crimes and violated court orders. They've ignored Congressional authority. They've illegally shut down government agencies. They've embroiled us in a war they had no authority to start. On immigration alone the Trump administration has deported more than 170 people in violation of court orders, in defiance of legally mandated due process protections. There are real consequences in human lives from this administration's actions - the shuttering of USAID will result in 14 million preventable deaths by 2030, including 4 million children under the age of 5. This is unconscionable. I urge you to reconsider your stance. Impeach Donald Trump and hold this administration accountable for their actions. If you refuse to do this, I will support a primary challenger for your office that will.
