As a constituent, woman, and mother, I ask that you do the right thing as my elected representative, to vote to release the Epstein files.
Speak up and stand up for the girls and women who were harassed, sexually assaulted and exploited, and raped by Epstein, Maxwell, and other predators.
Think about the girls and women in your life - would you want them to be treated and abused in this manner?!?!
I would hope that you could find empathy and even outrage for these girls and women and what endured during pivotal times in their lives. These girls and women continue to relive this trauma and abuse years and years later.
How would you feel if this happened to girls and women in your life? How would you handle what happened to these girls and women if you endured this sexual abuse?
As an educator, I have listened to many students over the years tell their stories after all kinds of traumatic and difficult situations, especially those who were sexually assaulted.
Two young women in particular I will always remember them vividly- I remember their names, their faces, and the specific details about what happened to them when they were sexually assaulted.
I will never forget them and I speak up for these young women and for many other survivors when I ask you to show your humanity, empathy, compassion, and sense of justice by standing up for these survivors too and vote for the Epstein files to be released.
All of these girls and women deserve to be listened to and for accountability and justice to occur! Release the Epstein files.
