Healthcare is not a “liberal agenda.” It is a basic human right that impacts every American—Republican, Democrat, and Independent alike. Those most harmed by political brinkmanship over healthcare are low- and middle-income families, many of whom vote Republican. While Congress enjoys excellent taxpayer-funded insurance, ordinary Americans face impossible choices between paying rent, buying food, or seeing a doctor. Access to care should never be treated as a bargaining chip. Please put people above politics and protect healthcare for all.
