The Battle of Los Angeles

To: Rep. Begich, Sen. Sullivan, Sen. Murkowski

From: A verified voter in Anchorage, AK

June 13

This morning at a press conference in Los Angeles, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem said, "We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city." So is this the real agenda? Until now we have been told that these forces are necessary to protect federal officers and property. The “socialists” are evidently the residents of Los Angeles, and the “burdensome leadership” are elected officials. Please confirm to me in writing that you do not support that the US government’s new mission is to overthrow local and state democracies. If you do support this, it explains a lot about your lack of fighting on your own constituents’ behalf. For you to take that stance is moving into traitorous territory and I urge you to quickly reconsider. Every day we see more irresponsible, harmful, and frankly obliviously stupid words and actions from the top echelon of our leadership. This will not stand.
