How dare you throw trans kids under the bus? As a senator who supposedly supports education and health care, how dare you vote for a bill that prevents trans kids from accessing health care? In today's environment of increased hate and anger towards trans people, with so many states preventing kids from accessing gender affirming care, it is more crucial than ever that we support trans kids and adults. I have never been as angry and disappointed in you as I am now. Is this the type of craven cowardice I should expect in future? We need our elected officials to stand up for us right now, not sacrifice kids on the altar of the military. Do better, Senator Murray, or I'll rethink my vote next time.
