Trump is costing us our status as leader of the free world, and Congress is standing by and allowing it to happen. The United States has had the global power we have had for decades because the rest of the world has allowed us to have it. We provided a service globally by acting as security for the rest of the world, and while that doesn't mean we were always the good guys, we stayed within certain lines and the rest of the world allowed us to remain untouched. But there are other global powers who could step in and replace us, and Iran has been meeting with Putin as we have shown ourselves to be frivolous and intractable. Where is the secretary of state? Why isn't Marco Rubio in Iran negotiating? Sending Trump's son-in-law, who has no official standing in the US government, is an insult to Iran and, quite frankly, it is an insult to the American people. If you don't want to watch the United States empire fall, then you need to do something to stop Trump. The midterm elections are coming, but I don't think we have that kind of time before we start to suffer real world consequences. He has abused his power, and is going to cause us generations of pain as a result of his inept and corrupt leadership, and Congress allowing it to happen unchecked shows the world the American people are co-signing his atrocities and blunderings. Impeach and remove Trump from Office as being unfit to lead the United States of America and restore some good faith with the rest of the world.
