Vote No on the SAVE America Act Procedural Motion

To: Sen. Van Hollen, Sen. Alsobrooks, Rep. Elfreth

From: A verified voter in Arnold, MD

March 16

Vote no on the procedural motion to begin debate on the SAVE America Act. This bill is unconstitutional and represents an illegal attempt to restrict voting rights. The SAVE America Act would impose new citizenship and ID requirements that violate existing federal voting protections. Even Senator Thom Tillis recognizes there's "no path for success" for this legislation. The proposed amendments banning gender-affirming care for minors and restricting mail-in voting have nothing to do with election integrity and everything to do with using a doomed bill as political theater. The Senate will waste 7 to 10 days or more on legislation that cannot pass while urgent matters go unaddressed. This is not governing. This is a show vote designed to appease the White House at the expense of your constitutional duty to protect voting access. Don't enable this charade by voting to proceed.
