I’m writing to you as a Nebraskan and a taxpayer. I work hard for my paycheck, and I must meet my deadlines at work. I expect you to do the same.
Right now, the DOJ is ignoring the law you passed. We were promised the full Epstein files by December 19th. Instead, we got a "data dump" that was over a month late, heavily redacted, and missing 3 million records. We can all see what’s happening here: it’s another attempt by the Trump regime to "flood the zone" and hide the truth.
This isn't just about paperwork; it’s about morals and justice. For years, the victims have been ignored while powerful people protect one another. By letting the DOJ ignore a legal deadline, you’re letting the balance of power slip and allowing an ethical disaster to continue.
I want to know three things:
1. What are you doing to hold the DOJ accountable for ignoring a law that was already passed?
2. When will the remaining 3 million records be released to the public?
3. How are you going to ensure the law is actually followed, not just "suggested"?
Nebraskans are paying for this "show," and we aren't interested in political theater. We want the law upheld and we want justice for the victims. It’s your job to represent us and ensure no one is above the law.
I look forward to hearing your plan of action.
