When the demented sociopath in the Oval Office posts a call for the elimination of an entire civilization—the genocide of 93 million Iranians—as part of his latest stream-of-consciousness bloviating and you don’t even see fit to publicly condemn these words, let alone get back to the Capitol and start pursuing his removal from office, you are as condemnable as he. You have a responsibility to the people of this nation and this world to use your congressional authority to strip this clear and present danger of his power, along with any and all others in this regime who would act as he does in his stead. Your failure to meet this moment will go down in history as not just cowardice but co-conspiracy. Posterity will be disgusted by the sound of your name.
