Freedom of speech is foundational to our democracy. Rümeysa Öztürk, Mahmoud Khalil, Mohsen Mahdawi and other student activists who have been unconstitutionally jailed for their words need to be freed at once. I know you have been outspoken about this issue. Please continue to do everything possible to garner the release of these individuals and to defend the constitutional of all of us to free expression.
