I am writing to ask you directly: Why are you not standing up for federal employees? Why are you allowing Russell Vought and this administration to continue dismantling and damaging our federal agencies while Congress seemingly stands by and allows it to happen? OPM continues to pursue policies that are creating chaos and destruction across the federal workforce. Experienced public servants are being pushed out, agencies are being hollowed out, institutional knowledge is being lost, and the American people will ultimately pay the price through degraded government services. This administration continues to engage in conduct that raises serious questions about legality, abuse of power, and respect for the constitutional limits of the executive branch. Yet where is the meaningful congressional oversight? You are not powerless. You are a member of Congress, a coequal branch of government, and you have both the authority and the responsibility to stand up when an administration abuses its power or undermines the institutions that serve the American people. Federal employees are your constituents. Their families are your constituents. The millions of Americans who depend on functioning federal agencies are your constituents. Why are you not fighting for them? I am telling you now: If you continue to remain silent and refuse to stand up for your constituents, federal employees, and our constitutional system of government, you should not expect to be reelected. Voters are watching. We see who is speaking up, who is taking action, and who is standing by while this administration tears apart the federal government. You took an oath to support and defend the Constitution. Remember that oath. Your loyalty should be to the Constitution and to the people you represent—not to Russell Vought, not to any president, and not to any political party. I am asking you to start using the power of your office. Demand oversight. Challenge actions that violate the law or exceed executive authority. Stand up against the continued dismantling of federal agencies. Protect federal employees from politically motivated attacks. Defend the constitutional separation of powers. Your constituents expect courage and leadership, not silence and compliance. Start standing up for us. Start standing up for federal employees. And start defending the Constitution you swore an oath to support and defend.
