SAVE Act is discriminatory towards married women.

The SAVE Act is inherently discriminatory towards married women (as married men will not be affected). The voter ID requirements would make voting more difficult for married women who have changed their last names. 80% of women take their spouse's last name upon getting married, and approximately 90% of married women have a name on their ID that does not match their birth certificate. SAVE act is a voter ID law that punishes married women and creates an obstruction to voting and having a voice in the government. This proposed law is extremely concerning and no one should be required to present a passport, government/military ID or birth certificate to vote. Furthermore, legal name changes require time, and SAVE act could also limit people from casting absentee votes. There is very little evidence to support Trump's claim that thousands of undocumented migrants voted in the election. This is nonsense, and you know it. This is the first voter ID law that seems to target married female voters, and it is disgusting, archaic, and dangerous.
