It's past time to get off the laurels and exercise your power to resist. The Trump administration has done so many illegal things we can hardly keep track anymore. When the courts rule against them, they defy the courts. Republicans during their minority have long ago stopped following the decorum of consent and have used the powers available to the minority to force their agenda anyway. It's time for Democrats to reclaim power of the minority to resist. Use your power to object to consent. Force roll call votes. Demand quorum calls. Use that power to do WHATEVER it takes to STOP destroying what took centuries to build. Reclaim the the authority of congress that Trump has taken by doing as he pleases without asking. STOP the imperialist actions in Venezuela. They already paid for their right to control their oil resources. Hold Trump and his gaggle of liars and spin doctors accountable for their reckless and illegal actions and obstructing Congress and judicial orders (Epstein files et al). Impeach, convict, remove. If Democrats cannot reclaim the authority of Congress and hold the executive accountable and enforce the judiciary, there is little point to a 2026 congressional election if it ever happens.
