Oppose Unconstitutional Undermining of the Judicial Branch

To: Sen. Moreno, Rep. Beatty, Sen. Husted

From: A verified voter in Columbus, OH

May 21

I am raising concerns about Sec. 80121(h) as it seems to violate the constitutional principle of separation of powers by granting the executive branch unchecked authority. The system of checks and balances is a cornerstone of our democracy to prevent any single branch from consolidating excessive power. As an elected representative sworn to uphold the Constitution, you have a duty to oppose any legislation that undermines this fundamental tenet. The people of Ohio expect you to defend their rights and liberties enshrined in the Constitution by vigorously opposing this problematic provision.
