I am writing to demand that you support H.R. 2550, the Protect America’s Workforce Act, and do everything within your power to bring this legislation to the Senate floor for a vote. The House of Representatives has already done its job and passed this legislation. Now it is time for the Senate to do its job. Put H.R. 2550 on the floor. Allow senators to vote on it. Then vote YES. Federal employees have spent the last two years being degraded, vilified, threatened, and treated as though their careers and public service have no value. We have watched DOGE wreak havoc across the federal workforce and upend the lives of employees and their families. We have watched this administration attack collective bargaining rights, dismantle unions, destabilize federal agencies, eliminate jobs, and damage the institutions that millions of Americans depend on. These actions have real consequences for real people. Federal employees are not political pawns. They are your constituents. They are veterans, parents, neighbors, public servants, and taxpayers. They have dedicated their careers to serving this country, and they deserve elected officials who are willing to stand up for them. H.R. 2550 is an opportunity for you to show federal employees and your constituents exactly where you stand. Do you believe federal workers deserve a voice in their workplaces? Do you believe in collective bargaining rights? Do you believe that a president should be able to strip those rights from hundreds of thousands of workers with the stroke of a pen? The House has acted. Now I need you to do your job. Use your position to demand that H.R. 2550 be brought to the Senate floor. Vote YES when it comes before you. Speak publicly in support of the federal workforce and show your constituents that you care about the people who keep this government functioning. And understand this clearly. Elections have consequences for elected officials, too. When you ask for our votes again, we will remember who stood with federal employees when their careers, unions, and livelihoods were under attack. If you refuse to support us now, you should not expect us to support you when you are asking to keep your job. Federal employees have been asked to endure enough. We are watching.
