National and take to Congress and then supreme courts to decide
The core idea would be the Financial and Utility Transparency and Oversight Act.
It creates a new office under Congress, call it the Office of Real Time Financial and Utility Oversight.
Its job is to build and run an integration system For all financial institutions
This bill would mandate direct, secure, real time data integration with the office. That covers banks, credit unions, lenders, credit bureaus.
The system would log account activity, disclosures, and tax compliance data. For both the company and the consumer tax returns making sure both are honest and on point.
Helps with consumer complaints as well when they come in, it gets routed instantly to both the institution and the office, so it can’t sit unanswered.
All states utilities, same deal. Electric, gas, water, and the brokers they work with have to connect to the same system.
That gives transparency on billing, brokering agreements, and helps the big players at the top by giving them real financials instead of letting brokering firms be there own utilities police themselves . This is a more honest system that’s betters all the way around and lets the feds and states and bigger ups verify the numbers independently.
The bill is standardized concurrent with honest reporting.
No more relying on self reported statements that have to be audited line by line to be checked.
The office would have audit authority and the ability to flag discrepancies immediately, like falsifying fake SSNs, fake accounts, and mismatched tax write offs.
. No more skeletons in the closet on taxes for anyone.
