The updated version of the so-called “SAVE America Act” has been published and after a cursory review, is not fit for Senate perusal, must less a full floor vote. Points one, six and seven are new, and are a total deal buster. The Federal government has no role to play in the review of state voting laws, rules or investigations. States have a long history of successfully administering elections and this is no time for a Federal power grab. The Constitution put states in charge of elections for a reason. Please table any further revision to the bill and vote 'no' should the measure come to a vote. Please write back soon to let me know where you stand, thank you and good day.
