I have had Stage IV metastatic breast cancer for more than 4 years. The quality of my life and longevity is directly correlated with the amazing progress that researchers, drug companies etc have made in just the last decade. As you may know, the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) played a crucial role in establishing the Department of Defense CDMRP's Breast Cancer Research Program (DOD BCRP), and we work diligently each year to build strong bipartisan support for its funding. It is critical for the program's proper functioning that Congress pass legislation supporting funding for the program. Please support $150M in funding for the DOD Breast Cancer Research Program for FY27. My life likely depends on it!
