Re: Expansion of detention camps in CO I am writing today about a serious concern in our state that the Administration is planning to open at least 6 concentration camps in our state! A coalition of concerned groups hand delivered this letter to Gov Polis yesterday identifying our concerns and asks. I would like you to support this letter by publicly acknowledging what the Administration is planning and to state we will not allow concentration camps in our state, nor in the US. As a granddaughter of Eastern European immigrants who came to the US prior to the Holocaust because they saw the writing on the wall, I am sickened by this plan and the conditions of existing detention camps including the GEO facility in Aurora. As our Senator, I am urgently asking you to speak out and help bring awareness to what is happening. Too many of our citizens don't know.
