I'm writing to you to ask you to stand up for human rights by standing against Israel's forced starvation of the Palestinian people. This isn't an organic famine that Palestinians are facing, it's forced starvation. Every day Palestinian children, women and men face genocide and ethnic cleansing. Every day Palestinian children, women and men face war crimes at the hands of the Israeli forces. Not at the hands of Hamas or each other or any other make believe villan. At the hands of the apartheid state of Israel. These aren't baseless allegations. These allegations are backed by countless reputable organizations. Amnesty International, B'Tselem, Doctors Without Borders, Human Rights Watch, Jewish Voices for Peace, Save The Children. When was the last time you had to worry where your next meal would come from, if at all? Could you imagine that being the reality for you or your children, every single meal of every single day? Knowing some days you will not find food or not be able to afford it? That you or your kids would go hungry? That shouldn't be the reality for anyone, much less more than a million people. I urge you to use all of your power to stand against these human rights violations, by: voicing your disdain for this heartbreaking situation, calling for an immediate and complete ceasefire, and supporting aid to Gaza.
