I am writing to ask you to please support Senate Bills 934-939, which passed the Senate with overwhelming bipartisan support. This package is the result of months of negotiations between residents, industry, and legislators. It is a good first step, providing some important protections for vulnerable residents in one of the biggest sources of affordable housing in the state.  It provides meaningful enforcement of regulations and more recourse for residents facing abuses. It makes existing rules more enforceable and gives residents recourse when they see violations. It cleans up some deceptive and unfair practices, and it supports the responsible park owners. It also provides a path for residents to band together and purchase a park when it goes up for sale. Please support seniors, veterans, people with disabilities and working families around the state who live in manufactured home communities. Please support SB934-939.
