Doge's reckless actions are doing more harm than good for our nation. While they claim to have saved $160 billion, nonpartisan analysis estimates their cuts will actually cost taxpayers $135 billion this fiscal year alone. This outrageous mismanagement and lack of transparency must come to an end. Doge's heavy-handed approach has resulted in tens of thousands of federal workers being improperly fired or put on paid leave, leading to immense disruptions, lost productivity, and ballooning legal costs. Vital agencies like the IRS are being gutted, jeopardizing hundreds of billions in potential tax revenue over the next decade. Respected researchers also warn that slashing health and science funding could cost the economy $16 billion annually and 68,000 jobs. The American people deserve a government that operates efficiently and responsibly, not one that creates wasteful chaos through ideological crusades. Doge has clearly overstepped its mandate and strayed far from its stated goals. It's time to shut down this failed experiment before it inflicts any more long-term damage to our public institutions and economic well-being. Fiscal responsibility demands real accountability and oversight, not smoke and mirror tactics that ultimately burden taxpayers.
