Rumors are tearing across the country about plans Donald Trump has to interfere in the midterm elections, including armed guards and ICE officers at polling stations, lawsuits to prevent the counting of ballots or the certification of results, and a new aggressive offensive in Iran slated to begin Tuesday morning. If Congress allows election interference from the President of the United States, you will all go down in history as flagrant villains. I call on you to vigorously enforce the election protections that are already in place, and do not let the President violate our constitutional right to vote under the guise of "protection." If you draw only one line in this administration, if you stop only one outrageous constitutional violation, let it be this one.
