As the child of an immigrant, I am writing again with concern about the continued detentions and deportations of legal residents including the well-known case of Abrego Garcia but also fellow Filipina Americans like Alma Bowman and Lewelyn Dixon. If we reach the point where every legal resident can be penalized for any minor infraction, regardless of if they have unheard evidence supporting their case or have served their time, we are in a xenophobic witch hunt - NOT a lawful attempt to keep American's safe. Please speak out against these unlawful ICE quotas. Please keep your voters in mind instead of bowing to the administration. The Republican party is the party of law and compassionate conservativism - not fascism.
