I 100% condemn any attempt by Donald Trump or his allies to abduct, overthrow, or otherwise unlawfully remove Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. Even the suggestion of kidnapping a foreign leader is a blatant violation of international law and national sovereignty. Venezuela’s oil does not belong to the United States, to Donald Trump, or to any foreign power. It belongs to the Venezuelan people. Using coercion, force, or threats to seize another nation’s resources is not leadership—it is imperialism. The world should reject political violence, resource theft, and reckless interference in sovereign nations, no matter who promotes it.
